〜あらすじ〜
明治の浅草は日本最大の歓楽街。
大人を真似た子どもたちも、粋や伊達を競いあっている。
中でも金回りのいい表町組と、腕っぷしの強さが自慢の横町組は、大人たちも巻き込んで何かとぶつかっていた。
寺の息子の信如と花魁になることが決まっている美登利は、互いに気になる存在。
美登利は表町組の看板でもある。それに対抗するため、横町組の長吉は信如を仲間に引き入れようとしたが……
樋口一葉作「たけくらべ」をベースに、明治の吉原に生きる子供たちの成長物語、淡い初恋を描きます。
