劇団民藝所属。テレビでは、テレビ朝日「はぐれ刑事純情派」、2015年TBS「渡る世間は鬼ばかり2015」などに出演。 舞台では、2005年「火山灰地」吉満由三郎役、2008年「海鳴り」万亀堂役、2011年「アンネの日記」ファン・ダーン役などを演じる。 2015年舞台「冬の時代」ノギ役を務める。特技は、広島方言・太極拳・普通免許。
